Demolishing Strongholds

in Genesis
Filmed before a live audience of 300 teens, Demolishing Strongholds
became another award-winning example of good production. Pre-production
included building a custom stage, including projection screen, backdrops,
sound and lighting. This particular stage allowed the speakers to
walk down into the audience and interact with them directly. Six
cameras recorded the event providing plenty of footage for close-ups,
reaction shots and wide-angles. The cutting-edge comic book animations
added in post production made this project unique and dynamic. Opening
interviews with Bill Jack introduce each topic, and on-screen graphics
enhance each speaker's message.
In the final “man on the street” session, Bill Jack
demonstrates how asking simple questions can expose the weak points
in anyone’s worldview. With these laid bare, many people are
open to the good news of a holy Creator and a merciful Savior.
A complete curriculum includes 112-page illustrated leader’s
guide, an 80-page student workbook, a group discussion guide, and
a multi-resource CD-ROM that includes PowerPoint presentations,
lesson handouts, optional activities, and a 1-minute promo video.
The series won both a Crown Award and a Bronze Telly.
