ICONS: Building Blocks of Worldview
Each answer that a worldview offers for one of the big questions
is summarized in a teaching graphic. Graphics representing competing
answers all use the same elements, teaching not only the core concepts,
but also the key differences beween each answer.
For example, the four competing answers to question seven use different
relationships between mothers and infants to illustrate each worldview's
core assumption regarding the value of human life.
Both Evangelical Humanism and Postmodernism are unstable intermediary
views. Rather than offering their own answers to every question,
they borrow intellectual capital from the other three views. Because
of this reality, "gaps" appear in orange and yellow lines.
