ICONS: Building Blocks
of Worldview
Icons software introduces the basics of comparative
worldview studies.
Released to outstanding reviews,
icons uses 70 easy-to-learn
pictures to illustrate the root assumptions behind 5
worldviews, and how those worldviews give very different answers
to life's big questions.
Four introductory slide show how the software works and provide
an hour-long introduction to the study of worldviews, and why they
are important. The main study interface contains seven
layers of research data - more material than would be covered
in a typical 10-week college course. The electronic format makes
icons excellent for independent study, and a great
visual aid for group presentations or classrooms. Each CD includes
student handouts that you can print for any number of students.
Asserting Biblical principles, the icons system
grew out of Food for
the Hungry's training
programs for cross-cultural workers, missionaries and indigenous
people groups in Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe.
